There are no cookies

The shortest document on the site, and the easiest to check. You do not have to believe us — section 05 shows you how to look.

Version dated 2026-10-01 Noxera Enterprise · Nairobi, Kenya

Draft · 2026-10-01

No lawyer has read this page. It is a plain language draft dated 2026-10-01 so that you can see what this site does, and so that a lawyer has something to correct.

What it says about cookies is true of the site as it stands on that date. If anything is ever added that stores something on your device, this page changes first and the date at the top moves with it.

How much of it

The short version hides the careful wording. It does not remove it from the document.

01

The whole answer

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics. Nothing here tracks you, counts you, or remembers that you came back.

There is no advertising pixel, no visitor counter, no heatmap, no session recording, no A/B test and no consent banner — because with nothing to consent to, a banner would only be theatre.

This is also why the reading controls at the top of these four pages forget your choice the moment you close the tab. Remembering it would mean storing something on your device, and a page that says “we store nothing” should not quietly store something for its own convenience.

Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019 governs personal data, and the cleanest way to keep a law about personal data is to collect none. That is the position here. The privacy page covers the information you deliberately send us, which is a different matter entirely.

02

What a cookie even is

A small note a website leaves inside your browser so that it recognises you the next time. Useful for logins, and the backbone of tracking.

Cookies themselves are not villains. A cookie is what keeps you logged into your bank while you move between pages, and what keeps items in a shopping basket. Those are the necessary kind, and nobody needs to ask permission for them.

The other kind belongs to a company that is not the site you are looking at — an advertising network, an analytics company — and its job is to notice you again on a different site tomorrow. That is the kind that needs a clear yes, and that is the kind that produces the banners everybody clicks away without reading.

This site has neither, because it is a set of pages about a studio. It has nothing to log you into and nothing to sell you from a basket.

03

The one outside request

The typefaces are fetched from Google's servers. No cookie is set, but your browser has to ask Google for them, and that request shows Google your IP address.

We would rather tell you this than let you find it in the network tab. Every page here loads its fonts from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Fetching a file from a server means that server sees where the request came from: your IP address, roughly where in the world that is, and which browser you are using.

No cookie is created by it, nothing is stored on your device, and it happens once and then sits in your browser cache. It is still an outside company seeing that somebody loaded this page, and pretending otherwise would make the rest of this document worth less.

Ferrin must decide whether to host the font files on our own server instead. It is a small change, it removes the only third party request that happens just by reading a page, and it makes the sentence at the top of this page absolutely clean. When it is done, this section gets deleted.

One request that happens only when you choose it: signing up on the journal page sends your email address to the studio's own backend, where it is stored. Sending a brief from the contact page does the same with a copy of the brief. No cookie is set by either. The privacy page says what happens to the address.

04

What the server sees

Whoever hosts this site records the requests that reach it, the way every web server has since the 1990s. That is the host's log, not our dashboard.

A server log typically holds the IP address a request came from, the page asked for, the time, and the browser's own description of itself. It exists so that a host can keep a server running and defend it from attack, not so that anybody can study you.

We do not open those logs to see who has been reading, and we do not feed them into any tool that would turn them into a profile.

Ferrin must decide which host serves noxeratech.com and then write three facts here: what the host logs, how long it keeps it, and whether those logs sit outside Kenya. The same gap is flagged on the privacy page and the two answers must match.

Check it yourself

Do not take our word for it. Your browser will show you the list of what this site stored, and it should be empty.

This is the most useful paragraph on the page, so it is written for the phone in your hand rather than for a laptop.

On a phone

Tap the padlock or the site icon next to the address at the top of the browser, then look for “Cookies”, “Site settings” or “Permissions”. Any cookie this site had set would be counted there. It should read zero.

On a computer

Right click anywhere on this page and choose Inspect, then open the Application or Storage tab. Look at Cookies, Local Storage and Session Storage for this site. All three should be empty. Refresh the page and watch them stay empty.

If you ever find something in there that this page has not told you about, write to support@noxeratech.com. That would be a mistake worth hearing about immediately.

06

If we ever add analytics

It would not happen quietly. This page would name the tool, say exactly what it collects, and ask you before anything non essential ran.

There is a fair reason a studio might want numbers: knowing that nobody ever reaches the contact page tells you something real about the site. If that day comes, here is what we commit to now, while it costs us nothing to promise:

  • Name it. The tool gets named on this page, not described vaguely as “our analytics partner”.
  • Prefer the quiet kind. There are analytics tools that set no cookies and identify nobody. Those come first, and if one of those is enough, nothing below applies.
  • Ask, properly. Anything non essential waits for a real yes. Yes and no get equal weight, refusing is one tap, and nothing loads until you choose.
  • Say what it holds. What data, who runs it, whether it leaves Kenya, and how long it is kept — as numbers, not adjectives.
  • Change the date. The date at the top of this page is how you know it changed.

Until then, the sentence at the top of this page stands as written.

Sites we build for clients

A different question with a different answer. Your site's cookies are your decision, and we will build the banner properly if you need one.

This page is about noxeratech.com only. A shop needs a basket, a members area needs a login, and plenty of businesses genuinely want analytics — all of which mean cookies, and all of which are perfectly legitimate.

What we do on a client project is tell you which cookies a feature drags in before we build it, keep the unnecessary ones out, and make the consent banner behave honestly: refusing as easy as accepting, and nothing non essential running before the answer. A banner that wears you down until you accept is a dark pattern, and we will say so rather than build one.

Under the Data Protection Act 2019 the site owner carries that duty. We build it; you own it. See who owns what on the terms page.

Next step

Want a site that needs no banner?

Plenty of business sites collect far more than they use, and pay for it with a pop up in every visitor's face. If you would rather have the version that does not, that is a conversation worth having before anything is built.
